BUILDING MAINTENANCE MECHANIC
Applicants for the above position must have strong electrical experience and the ability to perform general maintenance tasks as required. Preference will be given to those applicants who possess a mechanical background. Position will be Monday through Friday from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities
  • Installing of new electrical components such as wiring, outlets, and lighting
  • Conduct regular inspections and perform preventative maintenance
  • Maintain records of preventive maintenance tasks
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues with equipment
  • Installing, replacing damaged or worn-out parts

Qualifications
  • Must have at least three years of experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Understanding of good safety practices
  • Valid New Jersey State driver's license

This 12-month position offers a competitive starting salary along with a complete medical benefits package, including dental, based on the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Local 32, Office & Professional Employees International Union, AFL-CIO (OPEIU). Opportunity to work overtime is available. Holidays, sick and vacation time off are also included.
