To thrive as a Music Producer for NPR's Tiny Desk Concerts, you need expertise in music production, audio engineering, and a strong understanding of live performance logistics, often supported by relevant education or experience in the music industry. Familiarity with digital audio workstations (DAWs), sound mixing equipment, and video production tools is typically required. Creativity, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are crucial for collaborating with artists and delivering high-quality, engaging performances. These skills ensure seamless live sessions, enhance artist experiences, and maintain the production's reputation for excellence.

Additionally, producers balance creative direction with logistical considerations, such as equipment setup and maintaining NPR's signature style, all while working collaboratively as part of a small, dynamic team. This role offers opportunities to develop skills in live event production, artist relations, and multimedia storytelling.

Job description

Dental Front Desk / Receptionist
  • Company: Harmony Pediatric Dentistry
  • Location: Primary home base in Camas, WA (2 days/week) with cross-site backup support for our Gresham, OR location.
  • Job Type: Part-Time (Less than 30 hours per week)
  • Pay: $21.00 per hour

Experience Requirement: To ensure a smooth transition into our multi-site system, this position requires at least 1 year of hands-on front desk experience inside a dental practice, including specific experience managing general anesthesia (GA) hospital/OR scheduling workflows. We will provide targeted onboarding to introduce you to our specific practice footprint!
Why Choose the Harmony Pediatric Dentistry Team?
At Harmony Pediatric Dentistry, we trade the cold, clinical grind for an environment filled with fun, collaborative teamwork, and truly meaningful work. We make dental checkups feel more like playdates, ensuring every visit is a positive, happy, and stress-free adventure for kids and their parents.
By joining our administrative squad, you will work hand-in-hand with two extraordinary, highly accomplished pediatric clinical leaders:
  • Dr. Anna ("Dr. Anna!"): A graduate of the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine who completed her advanced pediatric specialty residency at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). Driven by pure compassion for children, Dr. Anna loves celebrating tiny teeth milestones. (Outside the office, she brings that same joyful energy to exploring local coffee shops, thrifting, and singing at K-pop concerts!)
  • Dr. Marwa Abdelrahman, DDS, MSD: A Board-Certified Pediatric Diplomate who has been practicing since 2010. After graduating with honors and finishing a GPR residency, she completed her Master's degree and pediatric specialty training at the University of Maryland. As a former practice owner who is currently completing her MBA, Dr. Marwa is highly skilled in behavior guidance, special needs care, and advanced sedation options. She maintains active leadership in the AAPD, ADA, ODA, and the American Association of Women Dentists.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
  • Advanced Pediatric Scheduling: Direct and oversee the daily appointment books, including the complex coordination, documentation, and tracking of General Anesthesia (GA) clinical cases and hospital/OR time slots.
  • The Face of the Front Desk: Welcome children and parents with high energy, managing the check-in and check-out pipelines with warmth and efficiency.
  • Multi-Site Dynamic Collaboration: Securely anchor our Camas location two days a week, while smoothly stepping in to provide elite backup support for our Gresham office team when needed.
  • Administrative Flow: Efficiently process patient registration, coordinate text-based parent communication workflows, and update digital patient accounts.
What We're Looking For (Qualifications)
  • Dental Office Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent experience working front desk/reception within a dental office environment (required).
  • GA Scheduling Experience: Proven background accurately scheduling and managing General Anesthesia (GA) or advanced operating room/hospital cases for pediatric dental procedures (required).
  • Schedule & Travel Flexibility: Ability to work out of our Camas clinic 2 days a week and serve as a reliable, seamless backup anchor for our Gresham location.
  • Technical Aptitude: Strong proficiency with dental practice management software (experience with Open Dental software or multi-line phone systems is a massive competitive asset).
  • Mindset: An organized, detail-oriented professional with a highly collaborative, team-first spirit and a genuine love for working around kids.
  • Safety & Compliance: This position is safety-sensitive; a routine pre-employment drug screen is required. We strictly adhere to all CDC, OSHA, and ADA safety guidelines.
Perks & Benefits That Scale With You
  • Hourly Compensation: Secure, flat base rate of $21.00/hr.
  • Time to Recharge: Accrual-based Paid Time Off (PTO)
Ready to Help Kids Grow Brave, Confident Smiles?
If you are an experienced dental front office professional with a strong background in general anesthesia scheduling looking for a flexible part-time role, don't wait.
