Job description

The Manager, Security Services Management leads the AMER region's Security Services Management (SSM) team, comprised of 6 performance and program managers. This leader is responsible for an annual budget in excess of $700MM, which represents approximately 16 million guarding hours. The role consists of portfolio management, execution of a region-wide support strategy, and Security Service Provider (SSP) administration for the North America remit.

The Manager, Security Services Management sets a strategic vision, and organizational framework, to facilitate daily operations. They contribute to global security strategies through OP1/OP2/3YP planning, roadmap creation, and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration. The Manager, Security Services Management is a critical member of the AMER Physical Security and AMER S&LP leadership teams.

They collaborate with partners in WWOS, Operations, Category Management, Finance, Legal, and PXT to develop security service programs that meet critical business objectives. The role requires technical expertise in physical security, risk management, crisis management, and the aptitude to develop effective mechanisms to meet long-term business goals. This role requires an experienced leader, proficient in verbal and written communication, who can present strategies to senior business leaders.

The Manager, Security Services Management is accountable for developing and implementing unique security service solutions that support multiple verticals, across 750+ AMER sites. These include Fulfillment Centers, Sort Centers, Amazon Logistics Delivery Stations, Amazon XL Delivery Stations, Global Specialty Fulfillment, Reverse Logistics, Amazon Air, Retail, and Amazon Pharmacy. .
