Job description

Specific Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Fill clave with 3 tubs
  • Pull out the 3 tubs after 1 ½ hour
  • Check 1 tub each time a shot comes out- takes about 10 minutes
  • Take the tubs to final line and make sure they are full at the robot. Final line goes through 3 tubs in 1 ½ hours
  • Trim the other side of tubs at prepress
  • Cover breaks for prepress
  • Review everything on the check paper, plus a flashlight check which isn't required
  • Perform a wet on test on 550 parts
  • Runs Clave
    • Assists trimming tubs
    • Responsible for their paperwork
    • Take shot tubs to final line
    • Load/unload tubs at both Clave and Prepress
    • Responsible for ALL cullet boxes in their areas
    • Required to assist in training of others.
    • Adhere to 5S and housekeeping standards and responsible for clean-up of work areas upon completion of tasks.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Desired Skills

    • Mechanical aptitude
    • Ability to utilize a Human Machine Interface (HMI)
    • Basic knowledge and experience with hand tools
    • Basic math skills
    • Ability to read a ruler and work with fractions

    Education/ Requirements

    • High School diploma or GED

    Physical Demands:

    • Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
    • Occasionally exposed to plant environment including noise, dust, dirt and vibrations, extreme climate changes / changes in weather
    • Willing to work shift work and assist in other areas of department or site as needed.
    • The incumbent must be able to work rotating 12 hours shifts.
