Our team is deeply committed, often putting in the extra effort - not because we're told to, but because we're invested in building something category-defining.
The Role
Eight Sleep is looking for an Amazon Channel Program Manager to own and scale Eight Sleep's business on Amazon. This person will be responsible for the end-to-end performance of the Amazon channel, including sales targets, channel strategy, marketing initiatives, budget allocation, operational execution, merchandising, account management, and the day-to-day relationship with Amazon account representatives.
This is a highly cross-functional and results-driven role. You will act as the general manager of Amazon for Eight Sleep, owning the channel's P&L, growth roadmap, execution calendar, and performance reporting. You will work closely with teams across brand, growth marketing, performance media, operations, finance, customer experience, creative, and supply chain to ensure Amazon becomes a high-performing, brand-enhancing growth channel.
The ideal candidate has deep experience managing Amazon as a sales and marketing channel for a premium consumer brand, understands how to balance growth with brand integrity, and is equally comfortable setting strategy, managing budgets, analyzing performance, and driving operational details to completion.
How You'll Contribute
Own Amazon channel performance
  • Own the Amazon channel end-to-end, including revenue, profitability, conversion, customer experience, marketing performance, inventory readiness, and operational health.
  • Set and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for Amazon.
  • Build the Amazon growth roadmap, identifying the key levers to scale the channel while protecting Eight Sleep's premium brand positioning.
  • Develop clear reporting on channel performance, including revenue, traffic, conversion, ad performance, profitability, inventory, customer feedback, and key operational metrics.
  • Act as the internal owner and single point of accountability for Amazon results.

Lead Amazon marketing and budget allocation
  • Own the Amazon marketing budget and allocate spend across the highest-impact initiatives.
  • Build and manage the Amazon marketing calendar, including tentpole moments, product launches, promotional events, seasonal campaigns, and always-on growth initiatives.
  • Partner with performance marketing to manage and optimize Amazon Ads, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, DSP, and other relevant paid media opportunities.
  • Analyze ROAS, CAC, contribution margin, incrementality, and conversion performance to make data-driven budget decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product ranking, organic visibility, search performance, and conversion across the Amazon ecosystem.

Drive merchandising, content, and brand experience
  • Own the customer journey on Amazon and ensure product pages, storefront, imagery, copy, reviews, FAQs, comparison charts, and A+ content reflect Eight Sleep's premium positioning.
  • Partner with brand, creative, and product marketing teams to brief and execute best-in-class Amazon content.
  • Ensure messaging is accurate, compelling, and consistent with Eight Sleep's broader brand and product positioning.
  • Monitor competitive activity, pricing, merchandising strategies, customer reviews, and category trends to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Continuously test and optimize content to improve conversion and customer education.

Manage Amazon operations and account relationships
  • Own the day-to-day relationship with Amazon account representatives and internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with operations and supply chain to ensure inventory availability, forecasting accuracy, fulfillment performance, and issue resolution.
  • Monitor and resolve operational issues related to catalog setup, product listings, suppressed listings, pricing, buy box, compliance, returns, customer service escalations, and fulfillment.
  • Build scalable processes to improve channel execution, communication, and accountability across teams.
  • Stay ahead of Amazon platform changes, new tools, policy updates, and growth opportunities.

Collaborate cross-functionally
  • Work closely with brand, lifecycle, performance media, creative, finance, operations, customer service, product marketing, and supply chain to execute Amazon initiatives with speed and precision.
  • Translate Amazon channel needs into clear briefs, priorities, and timelines for internal teams.
  • Ensure the Amazon channel is integrated into broader company launches, campaigns, and growth planning.
  • Bring data, insights, and customer feedback from Amazon back into the organization to inform future strategy.

What You Need to Succeed
  • 5+ years of experience managing Amazon or marketplace channels for a consumer brand, ideally in consumer electronics, premium hardware, health/wellness, home, fitness, or lifestyle.
  • Proven track record owning sales targets and delivering measurable growth on Amazon.
  • Deep understanding of Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central, Amazon Ads, Amazon DSP, A+ content, storefront management, catalog operations, reviews, merchandising, and marketplace analytics.
  • Strong commercial instincts with the ability to manage revenue, budget, profitability, and channel tradeoffs.
  • Highly analytical and comfortable building reports, interpreting performance data, and making decisions based on numbers.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and optimizing spend across paid, organic, promotional, and merchandising levers.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to drive cross-functional execution across multiple teams.
  • Operationally excellent, with strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and solve issues before they become blockers.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Bias for action, high ownership, and comfort operating in a fast-moving, high-performance environment.
  • Passion for building a premium consumer brand and improving people's health through better sleep.

Nice to Have
  • Experience scaling Amazon for a premium DTC brand.
  • Experience with high-consideration products, hardware, connected devices, or products with complex customer education needs.
