Duty Days Per Year:  185-220

Hours Per Day: 7.25 hours per day between 8:30am-3:45pm

Type of Position:  (X)  Continuing      (   )  Temporary

Salary: $20.40-$20.79/hour, depending on qualifications; according to the Unaffiliated Work Agreement

Supervisor of Position:  Chris Spindler-Schlottman, Kids Connection Program Manager
Qualifications:

  • CDA or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development is preferred.
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent), required
  • Training and experience related to child development, child guidance, cultural dynamics, communication, and activities is desired.
  • Effective communication skills, good interpersonal skills with adults and children.
  • Flexibility and the ability to sub for other instructors or shifts is needed.
  • First Aid and CPR Certification, preferred.
  • Plans, prepares and implements age appropriate curriculum involving various activities to stimulate children's cognitive skills, abilities and development.
  • Performs cleaning duties and organizes daily routine materials and supplies.
  • Physical Requirements:  Able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Summary of Duties:
Just 4 Kids is a child care program providing care for children 3 years old to 5 yrs old.  Lead Instructors assist in the planning and implementation of activities and instruction of staff. Lead Instructors supervise appropriate classroom, gym, and outdoor activities as well as other duties as assigned.

Positions 1,020 hours or more per year are benefit eligible
