Part‑Time Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant Mid Atlantic Parking Services (MAPS Parking)

Location: Alexandria, VA (Hybrid)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4 hours/day (Part‑time)

Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days remote

Compensation: $30,000–$35,000 annually (W‑2) + Paid Vacation + Paid Holidays

About MAPS Parking MAPS Parking is a nationwide parking management company headquartered in Alexandria, VA. With our long‑time bookkeeper retiring, we are seeking a skilled part‑time Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to support our financial and administrative operations.

Position Overview This role requires a highly experienced bookkeeper who can manage multiple P&Ls, maintain accurate financial records, assist with administrative operations, and support our CPA during year‑end and tax preparation. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, trustworthy, and able to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple P&Ls across various business units
  • Full‑cycle bookkeeping: AP, AR, vendor payments, expense tracking
  • Maintain and update QuickBooks daily
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monthly financial closings
  • Prepare internal financial reports
  • Assist with payroll preparation and employee onboarding documentation
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
  • Support administrative tasks including scheduling, correspondence, and client documentation
