This is a business-facing, hands-on architect role that serves as the primary point of contact between Tax, Ariba, SAP, and OneSource teams to design solutions and triage issues through to resolution. The role requires a strong working knowledge of the broader S/4HANA and Ariba landscape to understand issues end-to-end and validate fixes across the full transaction flow.

Your Role Accountabilities...
  • OneSource Architecture & Integration Own the architecture and design of OneSource tax engine integrations with SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA
  • Lead implementation of new OneSource integrations, tax content, and determination logic for new entities, regions, and business requirements across the US and international landscape
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on OneSource configuration, calculation logic, and integration touchpoints with Ariba and S/4HANA
  • Partner with SAP Basis/technical and Ariba teams to ensure solution designs support accurate tax determination, calculation, and posting end-to-end
  • Issue Triage & Resolution Act as the primary business-facing point of contact for triaging tax integration issues spanning Ariba, S/4HANA, and OneSource
  • Drive cross-team issue resolution, working directly with Ariba, SAP, OneSource, and other vendor/support teams to see issues through to completion
  • Perform root-cause analysis on tax determination and posting discrepancies and recommend corrective configuration or process changes
  • Testing & Quality Assurance Design and execute end-to-end test scenarios spanning Ariba, S/4HANA, and OneSource for new implementations, upgrades, and defect fixes
  • Validate that tax determination and postings are correct across the full procure-to-pay transaction flow, not just within OneSource
  • Cross-Functional Communication & Stakeholder Management Communicate clearly and proactively with Tax, Finance, IT, and vendor stakeholders across the US, Europe, and APAC regions
  • Manage expectations across multiple parties and maintain a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to issue resolution
  • Governance & Continuous Improvement Stay current on the OneSource product roadmap, regulatory/tax changes, and SAP/Ariba release updates that affect tax integrations
  • Identify opportunities to improve integration reliability, reduce manual intervention, and strengthen the overall tax systems landscape
  • Maintain architecture, configuration, and process documentation for the OneSource/Ariba/S/4HANA integration
Qualifications & Experiences...
  • 9+ years of experience implementing and supporting enterprise tax systems
  • 7-9 years of hands-on implementation or operational experience with Tax solutions like OneSource, Pagero.
  • 5-7 years of transactional processing and operations assurance experience
  • Demonstrated expertise with OneSource, including hands-on experience implementing OneSource integration to Ariba
  • Demonstrated expertise implementing OneSource integration to SAP S/4HANA US and international tax systems implementation experience
  • Functional tax knowledge - understanding of tax posting logic and requirements for US, Europe, and APAC regions
  • Ability to interpret tax regulatory requirements by region and assess their impact on tax engine configuration, master data, and downstream postings
  • Solid working understanding of SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba sufficient to understand issues end-to-end and validate fixes across the full transaction flow
  • Proven ability to work across Ariba, SAP, and other parties to triage issues and see them through to completion
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, business-facing approach given the number of parties involved
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Not Required but preferred experience: Knowledge of e-invoicing solutions such as Pagero, Edicom, or SOVOS
  • Experience with additional tax engines such as Vertex
  • Working knowledge of additional SAP modules (MM, SD, AP) that impact taxation
  • Exposure to SAP ABAP or other technical/integration skills
  • Experience working in a national or global company
  • Experience in the media, entertainment, or streaming services industry
