Summary

The Talent Development Partner designs, delivers, and continuously improves learning and development programs that build employee capability across Veradigm. This role owns the new hire onboarding experience end to end; from program design through facilitation and measurement, ensuring employees enter the organization with the tools, context, and connections they need to contribute quickly. The Partner is also a key facilitator for programs across the business, and operates in Workday Learning to manage content, assignments, and reporting. In addition, this role scopes and builds digital learning experiences, taking on ad hoc requests to design and develop training for various teams and functions across the organization. The ideal candidate brings a curiosity for AI; actively exploring how AI tools can enhance the way learning is designed, delivered, and experienced, as well as how AI can drive team and personal productivity, and is eager to help Veradigm lead the way in applying emerging technology to talent development. This is a hybrid role based in Raleigh, NC.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Onboarding Program Ownership

  • Own the full new hire onboarding experience, including program design, content development, facilitation, and ongoing iteration.
  • Coordinate with HR Business Partners, hiring managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure onboarding content stays current and reflects real business context.
  • Track new hire completion, engagement, and feedback; use data to identify gaps and improve the program on a regular cadence.
  • Evaluate onboarding program effectiveness using defined success metrics including new hire satisfaction, time-to-productivity indicators, and manager feedback and use findings to drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Veradigm's business, products, and the healthcare IT industry we serve; translating that knowledge into onboarding content that gives new hires meaningful context from day one.
  • Build and maintain onboarding paths in Workday Learning, including learning plans, assignments, and automated enrollment workflows.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding sessions that create an engaging, energizing first impression of Veradigm- delivering content in a way that builds connection, sparks excitement about the work ahead, and sets new employees up for early success.
  • Own governance of global onboarding materials for the US and India, ensuring content is consistent, current, and localized where appropriate; partner with key stakeholders and in-country HR teams in India to ensure alignment on content, delivery, and the overall onboarding experience.

Learning Program Design & Delivery

  • Design and facilitate instructor-led and virtual training programs across a range of employee development topics, including skills training, compliance, and culture-building content.
  • Apply adult learning principles to build content that is practical, engaging, and appropriate for the intended audience and level.
  • Scope and build digital learning experiences using Articulate 360 or similar authoring tools; take on ad hoc requests to design and develop e-learning modules and blended content for various teams and functions across the organization.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, balancing design, facilitation, and administrative responsibilities across the learning calendar.
  • Partner directly with business leaders and teams outside of HR including functions such as Sales, Engineering, and Client Success to scope, develop, and deliver training that addresses real performance gaps and business needs.
  • Own and maintain a library of learning content; keeping materials current, versioned, and organized; retiring outdated content and ensuring the catalog accurately reflects the programs available to employees.
  • Measure the effectiveness of learning programs through participant feedback, assessment data, and business outcomes; use insights to refine content and demonstrate impact to stakeholders.

Workday Learning Administration

  • Maintain working knowledge of Workday Learning sufficient to create and manage courses, schedule offerings, assign learning, and troubleshoot tickets or learner issues as needed.
  • Run and distribute learning reports to HR leadership and business stakeholders as needed.
  • Stay current on Workday Learning functionality and recommend platform enhancements that improve the learner experience.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Conduct learning needs assessments in partnership with HR Business Partners and business leaders to identify skill gaps and priority development areas.
  • Communicate project status, timelines, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders at varying levels of the organization.
  • Support the broader Talent Development team on enterprise L&D initiatives as needed.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Psychology, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.

Experience

  • 4 years of relevant experience in learning and development, talent development, or a related HR function.
  • Experience with Workday Learning preferred, including course catalog management, learning engagements, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience owning or significantly contributing to a new hire onboarding program.
  • Experience designing and facilitating training for both in-person and virtual audiences.
  • Demonstrated success in the design, development, and delivery of innovative learning programs and products that drive measurable employee engagement and capability.
  • Familiarity with AI tools preferred, with an eagerness to explore how AI can be integrated into learning workflows, content development, and program delivery.
