Job description

DEPARTMENT: Events 
REPORTS TO: Events Manager 
TYPE OF POSITION: Seasonal Part Time 
SEASON: October – December 
SHIFT: 11:00am- 4:00pm Sunday - Saturday 
EXPECTED HOURS: 20+ 
GENERAL SUMMARY 
Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad (CVSR) seeks candidates with a positive attitude for the loading position. This position 
will be based out of our Fitzwater train yard and will be responsible for loading the train for our North Pole Adventure 
prior to departure to ensure the magic of the program stays alive!   
RESPONSIBILITIES 
• Reviewing spreadsheet and inventory from previous day 
• Gather supplies  
• Load cart to take to train 
• Drive cart to train with supplies and load onto train 
• Perform other duties as assigned 
REQUIREMENTS 
• 18 years of age or older 
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills 
• Good problem-solving skills 
• Must have flexibility to work weekends  
• Ability to stand, sit and/or walk for prolonged periods of time 
• Must have own transportation and willing to work both outdoors and in office settings 
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
