At On Tap Credit Union, we're passionate about making a positive impact on our members, our teammates, and our communities. We're looking for a detail-oriented, organized professional to join our Consumer Lending team as a Lending Support Specialist.

If you enjoy solving problems, working behind the scenes to ensure loans are processed accurately, and providing exceptional support to both members and teammates, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

As a Lending Support Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting the lending process from funding through lien perfection and ongoing loan maintenance. Responsibilities include:

  • Process vehicle titles, lien perfection, and lien releases accurately and efficiently.
  • Administer electronic title processing and resolve title exceptions.
  • Manage ancillary products including GAP, Warranty, Auto Insurance, and Collateral Protection Insurance (CPI).
  • Serve as the primary contact for insurance companies regarding total loss and damage claims.
  • Prepare loan documentation and funding packages.
  • Process loan maintenance requests including payment changes, skip-a-pay requests, rate adjustments, and extensions.
  • Maintain accurate loan files and electronic records.
  • Research and resolve loan and title-related issues.
  • Provide outstanding service to members and internal partners.
  • Support lending and branch teams with backup loan processing.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies.
What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of banking, credit union, or financial services experience
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
  • Personal smartphone capable of supporting current iOS or Android operating systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Consumer lending experience
  • Knowledge of vehicle titling and lien perfection
  • Experience with MeridianLink, Origence, Symitar, or similar lending platforms
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
