Job Description:

This positionis responsible forsupervising the daily performance of service providers to ensure quality service, improve performance, andmaintaincompliance with environmental,healthand safety requirements. The incumbent encourages sales lead participation throughmaintainingmutually beneficial customer relationships; responds to customer concerns; uncovers business development opportunities; and creates a customer-focused work environment. The incumbent must be DOT certified and have UPS package Car driving experiencein order todevelop andmaintaineffective operational performance with services providers and other hourly employees as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and works with on road employees to maximize efficiency and ensure that packages are delivered in a safe, timely, and professional manner, this includes using the balanced scorecard and quality improvement process to track performance against goals, facilitating execution of the daily dispatch plan, and completing on-road supervision/audit rides

  • Maintains operational performance by developing and implementing effective work process plans, troubleshooting service inefficiencies, reviewing work processes and schedules, and monitoring costs to budget

  • Applies an understanding of policies and procedures to situations and operations in a business area

  • Participates in the development and implementation of work process plans to maximize centerproficiencyand achieve business results

  • Ensures implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive health and safety plan

  • Conducts risk management and safety compliance audits

  • Applies knowledge of company structure and operations to resolve problems, make decisions and achieve business objectives

  • Maintains employee safety training and certifications

  • Applies workforce planning knowledge to evaluate labor markets and devise strategies to attract talent

  • Determinesemployee training needs to produce continuous development plans

  • Provides feedback and support

  • Conducts performance evaluations and resolve individual and group performance issues

  • Supports a collaborative work environment through continuous communication and relationship building

  • Applies legal, regulatory and safety compliance knowledge to reduce company risk

  • Assesses,identifies, measures and monitors customer or business needs and trends

  • Coaches and develops others using career development processes and tools

Basic Qualifications:

Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $105.480,00/year to $154.830,00/year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate's work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. The company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements.
