They operate large vehicles such as buses or shuttles, which require a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) due to their size and passenger capacity. These drivers ensure the safe and timely movement of travelers and often assist with luggage and provide information about airport facilities. Their role is crucial for efficient airport operations and a positive passenger experience.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an airport CDL shuttle driver?

Familiarity with shuttle dispatch systems, GPS navigation tools, and basic vehicle maintenance is typically required. Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills help drivers manage passenger needs and unexpected situations. These abilities ensure safe, efficient transport and a positive experience for airport travelers.
