Job description

Registered Nurse – Surgical Services (OR)


Location: Kansas City Suburban Area * Relocation Offered


Shifts: Full-Time | Days or Nights (Multiple Schedule Options)


Compensation: Competitive Hourly Rate + Shift Differentials ($4.00/hr PM | $5.00/hr On-Call)


Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis


About the Role

Join a high-performing surgical team providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic, state-of-the-art operating department. We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses with Operating Room experience to drive clinical excellence across a broad range of surgical specialties, including Trauma, General, ET Ortho, Urology, GYN, and Neuro.

Schedule & Shift Options

  • Day Shift: 5x8-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM Start)
  • Night Shift: 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM Start)
  • On-call rotation required with extra pay differential.



Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert direct care in both Scrub and Circulating roles across diverse surgical procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, sterile environment and advocate for patient health and safety throughout the perioperative period.
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
  • Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Experience: 1+ years of recent Operating Room scrub and/or circulating experience required.
  • Certifications: Active BLS required; ACLS preferred.
