  • Call Requirements: No
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hrs.
  • Special Skills/Experience required: 2 Years +

Unit Specifics - Information below is requested for better sourcing:
  • Number of Beds : 14 ICU, 20 Med/Surg
  • Patient Ratios : 1:2 in ICU, 1:5 in Med/Surg
  • Unit staffing description- 1 PCA, 1 UC
  • Type of equipment : standard
  • Documentation system: Meditech
  • Scheduling requirements: every other weekend. We have had a lot of issues with call-in's and no-show. Please do not send candidates that have had attendance issues.
  • Floating policy: As needed
Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set:
Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role)
  • Must have ACLS
  • Must Have BLS
  • At least 2+ years of Experience
  • NIH REQUIRED
  • Vasopressors
Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first)
  • Meditech Experience Preferred
Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN)
  • Active TX RN License-Temp License are no longer accepted
Procedures performed on unit:
  • Critical Care
Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
  • Scrub Color
  • RN: Navy-scrub top and pant, Navy or white scrub jacket
  • Nail Policy - Clean and Healthy
  • Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed
  • Tattoos - Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually
  • Piercings - Visible piercings other than ears, is prohibited
