Job description

Team Rubicon is seeking members to serve in various positions on the All-Hazard Incident Management Team (AHIMT). AHIMT members are expected to be experienced and confident in their assigned role and ready to support at different levels to provide the skills needed to respond to various disaster types.

We seek highly skilled practitioners who have demonstrated strong leadership on other operations to form teams of emotionally intelligent, disciplined, professional, and credentialed members to set the example. Incident Management Team members are expected to deploy on short notice for up to 21 days at a time. The schedule is flexible but increased availability is a desirable during busy deployment seasons. IMT members are compensated for hours worked on deployment and benefits commensurate with employment status.

IMT Positions Specific roles include:

  • Incident Commander
  • Safety Officer
  • Liaison Officer
  • Public Information Officer
  • Operation Section Chief
  • Planning Section Chief
  • Logistics Section Chief
  • Finance Section Chief
  • Unit Leader Positions

Desired Competencies/Experience and Background
