Job Summary:
Que Technology Group, Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer to provide network communication services to enhance and complement High Performance Computing (HPC) sustainment capabilities. The role involves providing network support that requires system-level design, architecture, and enterprise security, alongside physical installation and configuration of network devices.
Responsibilities:
• Provide network support that requires system level design, architecture or enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls.
• Experience with Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, FiberChannel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC).
• Physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols.
• Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols.
• Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls.
• Working knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite.
• Able to support on-call requirements.
• Able to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing systems to track tasking.
• Experience with Virtualization products; VMWare and Solaris containers.

• Bachelor's degree in technical discipline
• At least five (5) years of demonstratable experience in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection or seven (7) years minimum experience in lieu of degree
• DoD 8570 IAT II level certification
• Must have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks.
