Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, installing, administering, operating, upgrading, monitoring, sustaining, and supporting data centers, networks, hardware, and software for both F5 and Cisco network equipment. This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with an on-site presence required five days a week provide support at the Technology Center and Campus locations as needed. Additionally, the incumbent will be part of our on-call rotation every third week to provide 24/7 support.

F5 Engineer
Job Description:
  • Design and Implement: Analyze, design, implement, and maintain the network's F5 Load Balancer infrastructure.
  • Troubleshooting: Inspect data packets and TCP/IP flow in network and application flow.
  • Security Compliance: Provide architecture/engineering expertise for new implementations, cloud environments, integrations, and project designs.
  • Technical Support: Offer technical support necessary for security compliance initiatives.
  • Network Solutions: Create highly available and complex network solutions in both data centers and cloud environments.
  • Automation: Assist in automation and delegation to tier 1 resources.
  • Knowledge Requirements: In-depth knowledge of protocols, designs, and configuration of data center and network infrastructure related to load balancing solutions.
  • Experience: with F5 Access Policy Manager (APM)
