Job description

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education - An associate’s degree or its equivalent is required, in addition to current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN); possession of a Registered Nurse (RN) license is preferred.

Experience - Candidates should demonstrate a background in patient care and have the ability bridge clinical practice with education. A minimum of one (1) year of related experience is preferred.

Knowledge & Skills –

  1. Ability to work with Epic end users and troubleshoot Epic application issues

  2. Knowledge of advanced computer and administrative support skills.

  3. Demonstrated customer-oriented service excellence principles.

  4. Ability to present and conduct training.

  5. Ability to exercise sound independent judgment, establishing work priorities with minimal supervision.

  6. Ability to assist with meeting assignment deadlines and interpret established policies and procedures.

  7. Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with all staff as well as the public, both orally and in writing.

  8. A quick learner of software and information technology and motivated to learn new applications

  9. Knowledgeable in adult learning techniques

  10. Ability to maintain a confident, professional demeanor.

  11. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

  12. Skill and ability to file, organize and retrieve data and information. Must possess strong organizational skills.

JOB SUMMARY

Facilitates and delivers technical training; assessment, preparation, delivery and evaluation to meet the technical training needs of the organization. Maintains meaningful relationships with business operations, information technology, leadership, system users and vendors.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed primarily in an office environment equipped with business machines, computers, etc.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work requires extended periods of sitting, standing and bending, operation of business machines, and some driving. Valid Oklahoma Driver's License is required. Confidence, maturity, and the ability to cope with occasional emotional situations (such as handling complaints) are required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Satisfactory job performance will be determined by successful execution of the following:

  1. Serves as the Epic Training Manager assistant and provides support to department staff as directed.

  2. Provide effective Epic application help by responding to help desk tickets and end-user requests.

  3. Assists the Epic Training Manager in obtaining and compiling data and information for reporting purposes.

  4. Serve as liaison between Epic end users, IS project team members and other IS resources as required.

  5. Attends all department meetings as designated by the Epic Training Manager to prepare written documentation of such meetings.

  6. Examine the effectiveness of Epic training programs against stated learning goals and modify training programs to address opportunities for improvement.

  7. Maintain Department manuals, policies, and procedures.

  8. Regular attendance is required.

  9. Performs other duties as requested.
