Job description

We are seeking a skilled Okta Engineer to join our access management team. You will be responsible for administering all aspects of Okta including conducting application integrations, troubleshooting issues, and building enhancements with new Okta features and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support end-to-end administration of our client's Okta tenant
  • Be the main Okta point of contact providing guidance, and zero trust best practices to application teams and other stakeholders
  • Conduct application SAML, OIDC, and SCIM integration with Okta including supporting requirements gathering, testing, and go-lives
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve authentication, authorization, and connectivity issues including with end-users

Required Qualifications:

  • Active or ability to attain a DoD Secret clearance
  • 1+ years of hands-on Okta experience
  • Strong communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with web application architectures
  • Knowledge of zero trust access management best practices

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Okta Workflows
  • Okta or other ICAM related certification
  • Security+ other industry certification
  • Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) and experience interacting with REST APIs for Okta customization, automation, and data manipulation.
