Job description

We are seeking a skilled Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) SME with hands-on experience in Okta CIAM to help design, implement, and optimize secure and seamless digital identity experiences for our external users. This role requires both technical expertise and customer-centric thinking to support secure onboarding, authentication, and access across multiple digital channels

  • Design and implement CIAM solutions using Okta.
  • Build and manage identity services such as user registration, login, MFA, social login, SSO, consent management, and account recovery
  • Define and implement Okta architecture, including workflow enhancements, custom connectors, and integration frameworks.
  • Develop role-based policies, enforce Segregation of Duties (SoD), and design scalable IAM solutions.
  • Lead upgrades, patching, optimization, and security hardening initiatives.

Advanced Integrations & Customization

  • Oversee Single Sign-On (SSO) and provisioning integrations for complex applications.
  • Work on identity federation, token-based authentication (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML), and API security
  • Build and maintain custom workflows, connectors, and integrations for IGA systems.
  • Manage advanced authentication mechanisms.

Governance & Compliance

  • Drive access certification campaigns and ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Perform IGA workflow monitoring, troubleshooting, and connector customization.
  • Address Okta vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Operational Leadership

  • Provide expert-level support for lifecycle management, onboarding identities, and access workflows.
  • Lead incident/problem management, including root cause analysis for recurring issues.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and optimize operational processes.

Collaboration & Vendor Management

  • Act as the primary liaison with security teams, application/infra teams, and external vendors.
  • Resolve complex issues with vendors and coordinate architecture enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience with Okta Identity Cloud, IGA, PAM, and advanced IAM concepts.
  • Proven track record in architecture design, custom development, and security compliance.
