Job description

As Designate Senior Inspection Engineer you will: Be responsible for the effective provision and operation of inspection systems and services to the allocated offshore platforms to ensure that plant and equipment is certified in accordance with Company's and Client codes of practice, strategies and offshore legislation ensuring feedback of results to client Asset Group.As Senior Inspection Engineer you will: Ensure agreed inspection strategies, procedures, standards and plans are implemented and completed by Offshore Personnel and any failures, variations and amendments are fed back into the Company's Technical Integrity Team and the Client representative. Maintain direct and regular contact with Asset Teams in order to ensure an effective Inspection service. Specifically input into shutdowns and programmes to ensure inspection requirements are clearly identified and scheduled

Review and endorse inspection reports to ensure they comply with the relevant standards. Instigate appropriate remedial action for any non-compliance and ensure that inspection frequencies are maximised. Co-ordinate and action results from associated failure investigations/significant anomalies.

Coordinate and participate in periodic plant and equipment history reviews in order to maximise plant availability. Ensure the effective application of new techniques, technologies and use of specialist NDT contractors to limit intrusive inspection so as to maximise inspection intervals, where appropriate. Provide guidance and/or direction to Company's support personnel and contractors involved in the supply, progress and organisation of services to the ICM contract.

Liaise with third parties such as related service providers, verification bodies etc. to ensure the client business objectives are achieved. Manage the CTR (Cost, Time & Resource) process, and assist in budget preparation.
