Job description

Superior Packaging and Finishing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Offset Press Feeder to support our Offset Press Operators in the setup, operation, and maintenance of our sheetfed printing presses. This role is essential for keeping our print runs efficient, high-quality, and on schedule.Job Summary:The Offset Press Feeder will load printing press with stock and assist the lead pressman with all print related duties.Duties/Responsibilities:Gather press supplies to help the press operator run the machine efficiently.Follow online work instructions for each printed project.Monitor the flow of paper, checking for paper jams.Assist press operator with cleaning press, cylinders and removal of plates.Make repairs to machine as necessary.Follow quality and safety guidelines, along with company policies.Complete all other responsibilities and assignments as required to successfully achieve the goals and objectives of this position.Required Skills:Strong interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent organization skills and attention to details.Basic Computer KnowledgeEducation/Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required.At least two years of related experience required.Experience with Heidelberg and Komori feeders a plus.Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50lbs at a time.Ability to work long hours while standing and lifting heavy paper.
