About the Opportunity:
Addison Group is seeking a Front Office Coordinator on behalf of our client for a contract-to-hire opportunity within a growing outpatient healthcare organization. This role is ideal for an experienced medical front office professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping patients, and can effectively balance administrative responsibilities with exceptional customer service.
This position serves as a key point of contact for patients, providers, and staff while helping ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome patients and visitors while creating a positive and professional first impression
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes for both in-person and virtual appointments
  • Answer and route incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and communicate appointment-related information
  • Coordinate scheduling activities, including new appointments, follow-up visits, and schedule adjustments
  • Collect copays, outstanding balances, and required documentation from patients
  • Verify and update patient demographics, insurance information, and account details
  • Support providers and clinical staff by managing administrative requests and patient communications
  • Utilize multiple software platforms and electronic medical record systems to maintain accurate records
  • Assist with scanning, faxing, document management, and other office support functions
  • Handle sensitive patient situations with empathy, professionalism, and discretion

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent front office or medical receptionist experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong background managing high patient volume and multi-line phone systems
  • Experience using EMR/EHR or practice management software

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
