Job description

We are seeking an Office/Sales Assistant to join our team! Your responsibilities would involve the following.

Responsibilities for Office/Sales Assistant

  • Handling incoming calls and other communications.
  • Provide information about products.
  • Managing filing system.
  • Recording information as needed.
  • Greeting clients and visitors as needed.
  • Document and update customer records based on interactions.
  • Updating paperwork, maintaining documents, and word processing.
  • Helping organize and maintain office common areas.
  • Performing general office clerk duties and errands.
  • Coordinating events as necessary.
  • Maintaining supply inventory including receiving and restocking of new shipments.
  • You would be required to take down, prepare and package, and ship out customer orders.
  • Maintaining office equipment as needed.
  • Creating, maintaining, and entering information into databases.

Qualifications for Office/Sales Assistant

  • High school diploma or associate’s degree.
  • Ability to write clearly and help with word processing when necessary.
  • Must be attentive to customer’s needs and determined to provide customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, multitask, be flexible and meet deadlines.
  • Basic computer skills including spreadsheets, data programs, and Power Point.
  • Work well with others and be a team player.
  • Warm personality with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under limited supervision.
  • Ability to manage schedules and inventory.
