Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Health (In-Office)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and organized Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing Home Health agency in an in-office role. This position plays a vital part in supporting clinical operations, ensuring quality assurance compliance, coordinating supplies, and assisting with staff training.
The ideal candidate has home health experience, strong knowledge of regulatory standards, and excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities


Clinical Support
Review and process home health clinical documentation (OASIS knowledge preferred)
  1. Assist with care coordination between field nurses, therapists, and physicians
  2. Review physician orders for accuracy and completeness
  3. Support case managers with patient care follow-up
  4. Ensure timely documentation and EMR compliance

Quality Assurance (QA)

  1. Perform chart audits to ensure compliance with Medicare and state regulations
  2. Review OASIS documentation for accuracy and completeness
  3. Assist with ADRs, survey preparedness, and compliance initiatives
  4. Identify documentation deficiencies and provide corrective guidance

Training & Staff Support

  1. Assist with onboarding and training of field clinicians
  2. Provide education on documentation standards and agency policies
  3. Support ongoing training related to home health regulations and best practices
  4. Serve as a clinical resource for field staff

Medical Supplies & Inventory

  1. Manage medical supply inventory for field clinicians
  2. Coordinate ordering and vendor communication
  3. Ensure proper tracking and distribution of supplies and equipment

Daily Operations

  1. Support Administrator and Director of Nursing with daily clinical oversight
  2. Communicate with physicians’ offices regarding orders and documentation
  3. Participate in case conferences and quality improvement meetings

Qualifications

  1. Current, active RN license in the state of CA
  2. Minimum 1–2 years of home health experience preferred
  3. OASIS and Medicare documentation experience highly preferred
  4. Knowledge of home health regulations and compliance standards
  5. Experience with EMR systems (Axxess Home Health)
  6. Strong organizational and communication skills
  7. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment
