Job description

The hourly rate pay for this position at Scotts will generally fall between $20.00 - 21.00 per hour and is paid weekly. Scotts will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.

Under the supervision of the Office Manager, the Shipping/Dispatch Clerk will support the dispatchers in carrying out their tasks.


The incumbent will, among other things:

  • Issue delivery notes and loading notes;

  • Receptions;

  • Welcoming and guiding drivers;

  • Assist in receiving our inputs and products for resale in the system;

  • Assemble shipments in the system;

  • All other related tasks, as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma preferred, or GED required.

  • One or more years of experience in a manufacturing or processing environment, demonstrating good organizational and attention to detail skills preferred.

  • Excellent computer skills, including several years' experience performing data entry and using office computer systems.

  • Experience in material control duties (inventory, traffic, documentation etc.)

  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal

  • Exemplary work ethic, attitude and attendance history

  • Comfort working in an industrial environment.

  • Vocational diploma in office automation or related field;

  • Resourceful;

  • Creativity;

  • Self-starter;

  • Passionate about customer service.
