Support a Busy Business Owner in a Flexible, Part-Time Role

We're looking for a highly organized, adaptable, and trustworthy Office Coordinator to support a contractor with multiple small but busy companies. This is a part-time, flexible role — perfect for someone who enjoys staying busy, thrives on variety, and takes pride in being the person others rely on to keep things on track.

The ideal candidate communicates effectively, manages multiple priorities with confidence, and plays a key part in keeping daily operations running smoothly while serving as a trusted support to the business owner.

What you'll be doing
  • Manage daily office operations, including filing, data entry, and document organization
  • Utilize QuickBooks Desktop for basic accounting tasks and financial record management
  • Coordinate with external partners (payroll provider, accountant, insurance, etc.)
  • Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity
  • Handle incoming communications — mail, email, and phone calls — ensuring timely responses
  • Track deadlines and help prioritize tasks in a fast-moving environment
  • Help keep multiple projects and responsibilities on track

What we're looking for
  • Experience in administrative or office coordination roles; bookkeeping or accounting experience is a plus
  • Comfortable with QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Office
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and shift gears quickly
  • Strong communicator who can work with a variety of personalities
  • Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working independently
  • Professional, friendly, and confident setting boundaries when needed
  • Experience supporting a contractor, construction company, or trade-based business is highly preferred

This is a part-time, flexible role with hours that can be shaped around the right candidate. Pay ranges from $25–$30/hour and will reflect your experience and background.
