Job description

You will serve as a Office Automation Assistant in the Tactical Electronic Warfare, Code 574000 of NAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORY.Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or (NC-01) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate most or all of the following duties: 1.) Managing the flow of clerical processes in an office setting; 2.) Coordinating meetings and conferences, screening visitors, preparing and reviewing security clearance information; 3.) Operating modern office equipment (computers, faxes, copiers); 4.) Operating a variety of office productivity software packages (to include word processing, spreadsheets, and databases), and 5.) Communicating clearly and effectively

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Education:In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successfully completed four years course of study leading to a bachelor's degree
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience is sufficient for meeting the minimum qualification requirements for this position.
