Job description

Front Office Specialist (Patient Experience)

Employment Status: Full-Time | Hourly (Non-Exempt)
Schedule: Approximately 40 hours per week
Work Location: On-site; travel required to multiple office locations within an approximate one-hour driving distance

The Opportunity

We are hiring a front-facing professional who understands that exceptional patient care begins long before a provider enters the room. This is not a basic reception role. The right candidate sees this position as a place to grow, contribute, and raise the standard of patient experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and visitors
  • Manage patient arrival and departure processes with accuracy and compassion
  • Schedule appointments, testing, and follow-up visits per clinical direction
  • Gather, verify, and maintain patient demographic and insurance information
  • Confirm insurance eligibility and secure authorizations as needed
  • Collect patient financial responsibility, including co-pays and balances
  • Upload and organize documentation within the electronic medical record
  • Prepare patient charts in advance to support clinic readiness
  • Maintain clean, orderly, and welcoming patient areas
  • Support patients who may be anxious or unwell with patience and care
  • Travel regularly to clinic locations within an approximate one-hour drive radius
