Inside Sales Representative (Sales Academy)

Our Sales Academy is a 4-month, on-site program at our Corporate Campus in Neenah, WI. It features a progressive curriculum, structured professional development plan, and balanced practical experience, and is designed for motivated and competitive individuals eager to take their sales careers to the next level.

Sales Development Representatives in the Sales Academy will engage new and existing customers over the phone through cold calling and proactive prospecting. We are seeking people-focused, energetic, goal-driven, curious, and coachable individuals with a strong desire to advance in an inside sales career. Upon successful completion, you will be promoted into a direct sales position where you’ll have the necessary foundation to grow your career.

After completing the program, associates have the flexibility to transition to a fully remote work environment within the U.S. or continue working on-site at our Corporate Campus in Neenah, WI, based on their preference.

  • Hunter Mentality: Driven to seek out and secure new business opportunities through cold calling and proactive outreach, motivated to exceed monthly sales quotas.
  • Communication Skills: Confident and clear when presenting solutions.
  • Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, and strong aptitude to learn new systems.
Work Environment:
  • Work/Life Balance: Adhere to a Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm CDT, 40-hour workweek, with no nights or weekends. Enjoy a predictable schedule and organized work routine.
  • Work Location: The 4-month Sales Academy is 100% on-site at our Corporate Campus in Neenah, WI. Upon successful completion, associates may choose to continue working on-site or transition to a fully remote, work-from-home arrangement within the U.S., based on their preference.
  • Private Work Environment (Remote Associates): For those who transition to a remote work arrangement, it’s essential to maintain a distraction-free, private work environment. J. J. Keller will provide the necessary computer equipment for you to fulfill your role.
  • “Camera On” Culture (Remote Associates): For remote associates, meetings and internal collaboration are conducted via Microsoft Teams with video enabled to support engagement and connection.
Benefits & Compensation:
  • Earnings: $54,000 to $55,000 first year, $55,000 to $70,000 post-Academy. (starting at $23.50 per hour base pay + monthly performance incentive)
  • Work/Life Balance: Enjoy a structured 40-hour work week, Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm CST.
