Job description

Landscaping by J. Michael is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team in Marshfield. If you’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys staying organized, and likes being the go-to person for keeping things running smoothly, we’d love to hear from you.

In this role, you’ll be at the center of our daily operations—supporting multiple departments, assisting with scheduling, and helping create a great experience for both our team and our clients. During our busy season, availability on Saturdays is required.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing the front desk and serving as a welcoming first point of contact
  • Coordinating schedules for our Sales and Operations teams
  • Supporting the Marketing team with seasonal campaigns and social media updates
  • Providing administrative support to managers as needed
  • Assisting with recruiting and onboarding new hires
  • Offering basic technical support to office staff and field crews

What we’re looking for:

  • 1–2 years of experience in an office assistant or receptionist role (preferred)
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Adobe, Jira, Teams, and CRM systems
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
