Department Information:
BSU's Office of Community Standards supports the development of a thriving learning environment by helping students learn the value of their rights and to realize the importance of their responsibility as members of the campus community, and in all communities of which they are a part. The Office of Community Standards accomplishes this by responding to reports of violations of the Bridgewater State University Student Code of Conduct through the Community Standards process.
Position Information:
The Community Standards Office Assistant will assist with general office tasks such as:
  • answer phones
  • manage office paperwork
  • greet students, parents, staff, and visitors as they enter the office
  • scan documents into the Community Standards database
  • data entry
  • deliver to other departments on campus
  • other administrative duties as assigned
  • assist with special projects as assigned

Confidentiality is essential in this position.
The information that you will be working with on a daily basis is highly sensitive in nature.
Eligibility requirements:
Must be a Bridgewater State University undergraduate student registered for a minimum of six credits for the Fall 2026 semester.
Must have Work Study award in your financial aid package
