Bristol Hospice provides end of life care, and volunteers are integral parts of the teams that care for each patient.

You can be a Veteran companion and friend for a Veteran patient on hospice. We have patients throughout the Hood River area -- Hood River OR, The Dalles OR, Maupin OR, Cascade Locks OR, Moro OR, Odell OR, Lyle WA, Stevenson WA, White Salmon WA, Stevenson WA and more.

Veteran Volunteers are special and specific to Veteran patients, as you "speak the same language" and can share Military experiences. It is amazing, and can be life-changing for you as a companion Veteran visitor. Be a part of a beautiful ending in someone's life story.

Your volunteer time is flexible and valued! When you are a part of the Bristol Volunteer Team, you receive training, support, a network of fellow volunteers and staff, and the knowledge that you have comforted someone on their final journey.

At Bristol, we care deeply about our community and those we serve. We are actively seeking volunteers and Veteran volunteers for our Vet to Vet volunteer program.
