As part of the Credit Operations team at Roadrunner Financial, you will be immersed in the day-to-day operations of the loan verification process. This position will be based out of our Irving office and will report to the Supervisor of Credit Operations. We are currently looking for candidates to work either a 10 AM - 7 PM CST shift or a 4 day/week 10 hour shift with Saturdays required.
Specifically, you will:
  • Perform accurate credit investigation analysis, verifications and audits to complete funding processes within assigned deliverable standards.
  • Ensure all credit decision requirements, document and/or stipulations are followed according to company policies and guidelines.
  • Collect and accurately review and verify applicant's personal information and financial records for the loan in an efficient and timely manner while adhering to company policies and underwriting guidelines.
  • Analyze the information on the loan application against various lending standards to determine if the loan applicant should receive the loan amount requested and closely inspect application documentation for suspicious or fraudulent activity.
  • Operate as quickly and effectively, while mitigating risk at the same time, to ensure quick response time for Dealer partners with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage a large volume of tasks while providing excellent customer service and strong attention to detail.
  • Perform manual fraud reviews in order to detect fraudulent applications.
  • Investigate any discrepancies within the review process utilizing all tools and resources provided.
  • Make outbound and receive incoming calls to and from consumers for identity verification purposes.
  • Identify potential fraud based on red flags and escalate for further review.
  • Understand all of the various loan programs, platform functionality, and proprietary decisioning engine/mode while being able to provide thorough explanations of declines; and corresponding DTI & PTI caps.
  • Collaborate with various teams and departments ensuring a high level of communication.
  • Have a basic understanding of our regression model as it pertains to loan decisioning and loan terms.
  • On occasion, communicate externally with our Dealership partners in regards to the status of reviewed loan applications including both inbound and outbound Dealership and Customer calls/texts.

Requirements:
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in Loan Processing, Underwriting, or Funding. Preferably in the auto or powersports industry.
  • High School or equivalent degree.
  • Must be able to work every Saturday and be flexible to work any shift during our hours of operation; 9am - 10pm EST.
  • Able to work well under pressure to meet daily and monthly goals while passing quality assurance audits and dealer feedback responses, and consistently meeting all SLAs.
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks using multiple tools at any given time: Salesforce, Slack, e-mail, Google Sheets, and proprietary LOS.
  • Strong work ethic and high attention to detail.
  • Must have a basic understanding of loan processing and be familiar with all documents required for loan funding.
