Job description

Octane AI is bringing AI to eCommerce personalization. We help the world's most innovative Shopify brands learn who their shoppers really are, through AI-powered quizzes and zero-party data, and turn that understanding into experiences that convert.
We're looking for a Growth Marketing Manager who can build and own our marketing function from the ground up. This isn't a role where you execute someone else's playbook. You'll set the strategy, run the experiments, manage paid channels, and work cross-functionally to drive meaningful growth for Octane AI.
You'll sit at the intersection of product, partnerships, sales, and customer success, translating what we build into why it matters, and turning that into pipeline, activation, and retention.
Want to see what our customers are building with us? https://octaneai.com/case-studies
Requirements
Background & Experience
  • 3-5+ years in a growth, performance, or product marketing role at a SaaS or eCommerce company
  • Hands-on experience running Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads, not just reporting on them
  • Track record of owning and executing product launches or major go-to-market moments
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (Hubspot or Beehiive experience is a plus)
  • Bonus: experience in the Shopify ecosystem or working with eCommerce brands
  • Bonus: startup or small team experience where you wore multiple hats

Skills & Strengths
  • AI fluency: you know how to use AI tools to move faster and work smarter
  • Strong analytical instincts: you set up tracking, read dashboards, and make decisions from data
  • Clear, direct communicator in writing, in decks, and in cross-team conversations
  • Strategic and hands-on: you think in systems but you're not too precious to execute
  • Growth experimentor: you know how to run tests, read results, and iterate without over-engineering

Mindset
  • You take ownership. If something isn't working, you say so and fix it
  • You work well across teams and know how to build alignment without slowing down
  • You're energized by a product that genuinely helps brands grow
  • You're comfortable with ambiguity and excited to build something from scratch

Benefits
We're a passionate team working on technology that's genuinely changing how eCommerce brands understand and convert their customers. You won't be one of many. You'll be the person who builds our marketing function and shapes how the world sees what we've built.
Remote-first: Work from anywhere in the world
Unlimited PTO and a bonus Paid Paid Vacation
Monthly wellness stipend
Quarterly store stipend
Salary range $65k - $72k USD + equity
