Job description

Internal Occupational Therapy Traveler (OT) – Cambridge Healthcare Services

Reports To: Regional Director of Therapy / Facility Therapy Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt / Non-Exempt

Position Summary:

Provides occupational therapy services across multiple SNFs, focusing on resident functional independence and quality of life while supporting facility therapy teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Evaluate residents, develop individualized OT plans, and provide therapy sessions.

Conduct group and functional activities, adaptive equipment training, and ADL interventions.

Travel between facilities on a scheduled basis.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and mentor OT/OTA staff.

Maintain compliance with regulatory and documentation standards.

Required Qualifications:

Licensed OT in California

SNF or post-acute care experience preferred

Skilled in ADL retraining, cognitive and functional interventions

EMR proficiency

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist residents as required for patient care.

Exposure to typical clinical settings and resident care activities.
