What are the typical daily responsibilities of an occupational social worker?
Occupational Social Workers typically spend their days assessing employees' mental health and workplace adjustment needs, providing individual or group counseling, and facilitating workshops on stress management, burnout prevention, or conflict resolution. They often collaborate with human resources, management, and occupational health professionals to develop supportive programs and address issues like workplace harassment or crisis situations. Additionally, Occupational Social Workers may be involved in case documentation, follow-up care, and organizing referrals to community resources.
