What You Will Do:

  •  Accurate Product Delivery:
      - Ensure timely and precise delivery of products to local customers, including bars, restaurants, casinos, and schools.
      - Verify delivery contents against invoices to guarantee correct delivery of orders.
  •  Merchandise Handling:
      - Properly scan merchandise upon delivery to maintain accurate records.
      - Utilize handcarts, ramps, lift gates, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
  •  Vehicle Operation and Maintenance:
      - Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the commercial vehicle is in good operating condition.
      - Operate the commercial vehicle safely in compliance with all traffic regulations.
  • Communication:
      - Maintain clear communication with the transportation department associates using cell phones.
      - Ensure timely reporting of any issues or delays encountered during deliveries.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
      - Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines.
      - Follow invoicing guidelines and return product protocols as outlined by company policy.
  • Record Keeping:
      - Accurately record mileage and delivery times for each route.
      - Complete necessary documentation at the beginning and end of each daily route.
  • Customer Service:
      - Provide excellent customer service by addressing any customer concerns or questions during deliveries.
      - Handle products with care to ensure they reach the customer in excellent condition.
  • Equipment Usage:
      - Operate and maintain delivery equipment, including handcarts, ramps, and lift gates, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Daily Route Management:
      - Plan and manage daily delivery routes to optimize efficiency and timeliness.
      - Learn, understand, and follow company-specific routing and delivery procedures.
  • Additional Duties:
       - Perform any additional duties as assigned by supervisors to support the overall delivery process and company objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Clean CDL Class A  license.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of prior commercial delivery experience.*Food service and refer experience preferred.*
  • Must have the ability to lift product weighing up to 100 lbs on a consistent basis.
  • Required to climb in and out of a commercial vehicle and operate in a safe manner.
  • Must be able to walk, bend, lift on a regular basis.

Salary: 

  • 25.00- $28.00 an hour
