Permanent Physician – Hospitalist – OB

Position Type: Permanent
Specialty: Physician – Hospitalist – OB/GYN
Location: Ohio.
Shift: 24-hour in-house shifts

Position Details:
  • Patient Population: Obstetric and Gynecologic patients
  • Setting: Inpatient hospital / Labor & Delivery
  • Responsibilities: OB triage, admissions, inpatient care, deliveries, OB/GYN emergency coverage, collaboration with community OBs, multidisciplinary OB critical care, communication with office physicians
  • Required Procedures: Vaginal deliveries, OB/GYN emergency procedures, inpatient OB management
  • EMR System: Not specified
  • Support Staff: Community OBs, family practice physicians, hospital OB/L&D team
  • Days Per Month: Approximately 7 shifts
  • On-Call/Weekends: 24-hour in-house coverage including weekends

Submission Requirements:

  • Board Certified OB/GYN
  • Active Ohio license (or willing to obtain)
  • NPDB self-query within 30 days
  • DEA prior to start
