Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from your preferred location while supporting clients across the state of California. You will collaborate with a diverse team of mental health professionals and specialists, using telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems to track client progress and share insights with your colleagues. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of client needs, utilizing clinical interviews and standardized assessments to inform treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.
  • Effectively manage and address client crises by utilizing intervention techniques appropriate for varying situations.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, including intake assessments, treatment progress notes, and follow-up evaluations, adhering to ethical and legal standards.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to share insights and strategies that enhance therapeutic interventions and improve client outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Open Arms Counseling Solutions, you will serve a diverse clientele composed of individuals from various backgrounds and demographics. You will be equipped to address the unique challenges faced by each client, ensuring that care is culturally competent and tailored to their specific needs. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist in the state of California.
  • A minimum of two years of direct experience providing counseling services to individuals or groups, ideally in a community health setting.
Preferred Experience

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
