Work Environment

This is a remote position allowing flexibility in your work schedule, while still maintaining a structured approach to providing mental health support. You will join a multidisciplinary team composed of therapists, social workers, and case managers who are dedicated to fostering professional development and continuous improvement in our service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' psychological and social needs, ensuring an individualized approach to care.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans, adjusting as necessary based on clients' progress and feedback.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment for clients in acute distress, applying evidence-based techniques to stabilize emotional crises.
• Maintain detailed clinical records, including medical histories, treatment outcomes, and ongoing treatment plans, in compliance with organizational policies and legal standards.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to share insights on clients’ psychosocial factors, aiming to achieve positive treatment outcomes.
• Engage in community outreach to connect clients with local resources, enhancing support outside of therapy sessions.
• Stay current with mental health best practices and participate in regular professional development to refine skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base is diverse, encompassing individuals and families from various backgrounds facing issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, and interpersonal conflicts. As a part of Open Arms Counseling Solutions, you will be instrumental in addressing these complexities by employing a holistic approach to therapy that encompasses the unique cultural and situational contexts of our clients.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Valid licensure in California as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist.
• At least two years of professional experience providing mental health counseling to a varied clientele.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient setting with a focus on family systems therapy.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and community mental health resources.
• Proficient in electronic health record systems and documentation standards.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
