Nature of Work:
Provide live sports tv amp; video production support. The production crew runs a specific position as an on-call employee, as assigned by VP of Broadcast Services.
Examples of work performed:
  • Directs cameras and control room crew
  • Operates video switcher
  • Operates Xpression or Chyron Graphics equipment
  • Operates audio board
  • Manages video signals, communication amp; equipment repair
  • Operates Dyno replay equipment
  • Operates camera for live sports
  • Edits highlight packages and other video features

Working Conditions amp; Physical Demands:
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility to alter shifts/days off to accommodate projects and departmental objectives.
  • Ability to work 4/5 hour stretches
Qualifications
  • Minimum
    • Minimum 2+ years professional experience within Live Sports TV Production field.
    • High School or GED
    • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
  • Preferred
    • None
Competencies/Knowledge, Skills amp; Abilities
  • Significant experience with the principles, terminology, tools, and equipment utilized in television production/broadcast engineering.
  • Solid working knowledge of automation in the context of television network operations.
  • Working knowledge of satellite uplink transmission and downlink conditional access.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and concisely in job ticketing system.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, make quick decisions, and execute resolutions quickly in dynamic situations.
Compensation
  • Base hourly range $25 - $50 per hour
