Job description

Tri-City Group is currently seeking an experienced Project Document Controls professional for our sister company, CST Tri-Venture. This is an immediate opening in Port Washington, WI. This role is responsible for managing and maintaining project files, correspondence, and records in accordance with client, general contractor, and CST standards.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Administrative ownership of all documentation relating to the project, ensuring timely delivery, consistency, and compliance with quality control processes
  • Set up and maintain the project QA/CX library folder, following CST's corporate filing structure for consistent organization and easy document retrieval
  • Receive and process drawings, specifications, and submittals into the correct locations, using standard naming conventions
  • File, label, and organize project documents such as drawings, RFIs, and submittals quickly and consistently
  • Use multiple software platforms to manage and track project documentation
  • Check all documents for accuracy and completeness to maintain quality standards
  • Work with the QC Manager to review quality plan requirements and define responsibilities for processing documents, checklists, plans, and testing data
  • Understand both company and client/GC Quality Control Plans to ensure compliance throughout the project
  • Create and maintain project-specific checklists that meet quality and contractual requirements
  • Maintain awareness of project roles and responsibilities to effectively support cross-functional teams
  • Support smooth transitions between PMO and Production by ensuring documentation matches project progress
  • Track issues and deficiencies, keep accurate logs, and follow up to ensure timely resolution
  • Travel: Limited as needed


Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, are regular business hours. The schedule is mandated by job site requirements and is subject to change as business needs dictate.


Qualifications:

  • Electrical knowledge, current codes, and industry standards for commercial and industrial construction projects
  • Minimum of five years of experience in the construction industry
  • Experience working with General Contractors, vendors, project owners, and trade partners preferred
  • Prior experience in Quality Control preferred
  • Proficient computer software usage skills: MS Oce (Word, Excel, Outlook), Bluebeam (Markups, Layers, Smart PDFs, Studio), Quality control software, OneDrive, Smart Sheets, Procore, PlanGrid, ACC & G-Suite products


Candidates must possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, focus on accuracy, solid communication skills, positive initiative and judgment, the ability to solve problems and meet deadlines, self-motivation, and be organized.
