Work Environment

The position is full-time, offering on-site services at our outpatient office in East Brunswick, NJ. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or health conditions in an outpatient setting.
• Establish individualized treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic methods, including exercises, mobility training, and manual therapy techniques.
• Implement treatment strategies that aim to relieve pain and restore functional movement, employing both traditional and innovative approaches.
• Track patient progress meticulously by documenting sessions, evaluating treatment responses, and adjusting plans as needed to meet therapeutic goals.
• Educate patients and their family members about their conditions, recommended exercises, and self-care strategies that promote ongoing recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless continuum of care, integrating services where appropriate.
• Stay updated with the latest physical therapy advancements by attending continuing education workshops, seminars, and participating in relevant professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on outpatient individuals ranging from pediatric to geriatric patients. These individuals come to us with diverse diagnoses and rehabilitation needs, including orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, post-operative care, and chronic pain management. Our objective is to enhance their quality of life through personalized, goal-oriented therapy.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid physical therapy license in the State of New Jersey.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Proficient in using technology for record-keeping and patient management.
• A dedication to maintaining high standards of patient care and professional ethics.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of relevant clinical experience in physical therapy, although new graduates who possess a DPT and meet licensing requirements are encouraged to apply.
• Experience working in outpatient settings is a plus, providing familiarity with common conditions requiring therapy.
• Familiarity with assistive devices and rehabilitation equipment is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an attractive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
