In this role, you will collaborate in the design, implementation, and ongoing operational support of clinical technologies and associated workflows within a specialized critical care domain, spanning both enterprise and local environments. You will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and maintaining statistical and performance data to support timely, accurate, and informed decision‑making for assigned business owners. Additionally, you will partner closely with clinical subject‑matter experts, informatics colleagues, and IT teams across the Banner enterprise to deliver integrated solutions that translate data into meaningful, actionable insights.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of experience in a perioperative or fast-paced acute critical healthcare setting. At least two years of data analytics experience and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are preferred.

This position is onsite working Monday-Friday 8-hour days. This position is on-site in Churchill with remote support for our Lassen facility.​ Additionally, you may be required to travel to and work at any facility within the Banner Network.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for collaborating in the development, implementation, and operational support of all clinical technologies and processes, within a specialty area on a system-level base. This position provides informatics expertise and is responsible for the development, interpretation, and maintenance of statistical data necessary for driving key business decisions to assigned business owners in an accurate and timely manner. Partners and aligns with business experts, other informatics team, and IT across the Banner enterprise to deliver solutions that turn data into actions. Seeks to optimize clinical systems design to meet organizational improvement objectives and strategic goals while balancing the needs of all user requirements related to interdisciplinary users of these systems. Fosters teamwork through collaboration with department leaders, clinicians, project managers, and technical experts to ensure the design and deployment of clinical related applications that result in improved patient care and outcomes.

CORE FUNCTIONS

4. Makes decisions within guidelines and policies that impact own priorities and allocation of time to meet deadlines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent related experience.

Requires Registered Nurse (R.N.) licensure in practicing state. 

Must be proficient in the use of system office applications. Must possess a basic understanding of integrated clinical systems. Must have highly developed interpersonal and critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize needs rapidly. This position requires the ability to convey messages and thoughts clearly to a diverse audience, using both verbal and written mediums. Requires the ability to promote change among large groups of workers. Requires the ability to coordinate information and activities, work under stress of deadlines and frequent interruptions, and to possess analytical problem-solving skills. Requires the maintenance of familiarity with clinical care processes and information technology.  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; Certification in Nursing Informatics; two plus years of experience performing financial, analytical, and/or statistical work, preferably in a healthcare setting in addition to experience in working with Microsoft Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint preferred.

Additional related education and/or experience preferred.

Estimated Pay Range:

$37.91 - $63.19 / hour Banner Health is committed to pay equity and transparency. The posted compensation range is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay Banner Health in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. This range is based on possible base salaries and does not include the value of our total rewards package. Actual pay determined at offer will be based on years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location, along with a review of current employees in similar roles to ensure pay equity is achieved and maintained.
