Job description

Pharmacy Technician-Data Entry

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Every other weekend - 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter new orders for staff pharmacist review.
  • Process refills.
  • Maintain up-to-date, accurate customer information.
  • Generate labels for dispensing.
  • Answer phones and respond to order inquiries.
  • Clarify orders as needed.
  • Triage incoming faxes.

Pharmacy Technician-Data Entry Requirements:

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with NJ Board of Pharmacy.
  • Previous experience in pharmacy desirable.
  • Knowledge of brand name and generic medications.
  • Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Must be multi-tasking and reliable.
  • Knowledge of SIG-Codes.
  • Quick typing skills.
  • Computer literate, knowledge of Frameworks LTC system, PLUS.
