Description

LifeHealth, a federal government contractor, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide non-clinical case management services to the Vermont Army National Guard (VTARNG) State Medical Detachment.

Colchester, VT 05446

Monday - Friday 0730-1630

Weekend soldier readiness events - as required.

This position is estimated to start on 7/13/2026.

Job Description:

Non-Clinical Case Managers coordinate all aspects of the care of individual patients. They ensure proper utilization of services and resources and provide assistance within, between, and outside of VTARNG facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Registered professional nurse must possess an unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Vermont or a multi-state Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) with privileges to practice in Vermont.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical or case management experience.
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program. Preferred: A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is highly preferred but not mandatory.
  • Additional certifications, such as a Certified Case Manager (CCM) credential is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience within a Military Health System (MHS) or working with military medical readiness systems (e.g. MEDCHART, MEDPROS, MHS GENESIS) is highly preferred.
  • Must not have had any professional licensure or certification withheld, suspended, revoked, or denied, and the candidate must not have surrendered or allowed a professional license or certification to have expired or lapsed because of an investigation or disciplinary action.
  • Must be able to obtain a minimum National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) with Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) fingerprint check.
Physical Demands:

Position requires frequent standing or walking. Ability to access files, supplies and equipment. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.

Work Environment:

Work environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, chemicals etc. Subject to frequent interruptions.
