Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic orthopedic conditions in an outpatient clinic
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including histories and physical exams
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies as appropriate
  • Interpret diagnostic imaging and test results (e.g., X-rays, MRI, CT scans)
  • Perform in-office procedures such as joint injections, aspirations, splinting, and casting
  • Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, and recovery expectations
  • Collaborate closely with orthopedic physicians, clinical staff, and medical group operations
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current state licensure and national certification as an NP or PA
  • Orthopedic experience preferred; strong orthopedic interest required
  • Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient environment
