As a nurse aide, your duties are to assist a nurse with their responsibilities. Nurse aides may work in numerous settings, such as at a hospital, outpatient facility, rehabilitation office, or nursing home. Some of your specific tasks include taking vital signs like temperature and blood pressure, moving patients, cleaning or bathing them, helping them eat, and recording patient concerns for the nurse or physician. These competencies are crucial for providing safe, respectful, and effective support to patients and healthcare teams.
